Four Tracks

Spiritual Formation Track

Throughout the twelve (12) months of the New Heart Place experience, the Resident Ministry Team, coaches, personal counselors, and pastors of Westgate Chapel prayerfully guide each student through experience carefully designed to fully cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the making of a man of God; a man equipped to stand as a spiritual warrior/

Emotional Wholeness Track

The core issues of a man's heart (unforgiveness, rejection, shame, etc) often drive the desire to "anesthetize" those issues with the "drug of choice."  The ability to "get clean and sober," as admirable as that achievement may be, is not enough.  Healing - core healing - must happen if "clean and sober" will ever be sustainable.

The Emotional Wholeness Track of the New Heart Place curriculum offers the student a variety of healing and learning experiences designed to fully cooperate with God's intent to heal and restore.

Nutrition and Fitness Track

According to recovery research, most alcoholics and addicts suffer from some form of malnutrition.  The lack of vital nutrients profoundly impact the emotional and physical health of the recovering alcoholic-addict.  The prolonged use of the "drug of choice" has resulted in a build-up of toxins in the body.

The Nutrition and Fitness Track at New Heart Place is designed to help the students experience and understand the importance of good nutrition and a balanced fitness regimen as they develop healthy lifestyle patterns.

Vocational Readiness Track

Jeremiah 29:11 articulates a promise from the Father to every alcoholic-addict serious about his future:
"I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you and hope and a future."

The Vocational Readiness Track curriculum is built on the presupposition that God has intent and purpose for every New Heart Place student; that the Father has a destiny for each man.

Through consultation with professionals, the New Heart Place student is guided into thinking about his future through God's eyes.  More than "getting a job," the Vocational Readiness Track seeks to help a New Heart Place student discover purpose, calling, and destiny.
